Why Micah cares

Micah is a parent that moved to Keller because it's one of the best places to raise a family due to the exceptional schools.

"I'm running for Keller ISD school board because our students, parents and teachers deserve servant leaders who stand on principle and fight for excellence. As a US Army combat veteran and small business owner, I live those truths every day and will bring that experience to the board to serve our community."

-Micah

LEADERSHIP

Our schools need and deserve leadership that is transparent, accountable, and seeks to involve parents and teachers in decision making. KISD is the center of our community and so its leaders should understand they serve not only the students and employees of the district but also the citizens who reside within its boundaries.

ACADEMICS

Keller ISD is an exceptional school district because of its outstanding educators and staff. The KISD Board is responsible for maintaining this outstanding workforce by hiring the best and rewarding those who continue to be exceptional at their craft. The Board is also responsible for ensuring the district remains academically competitive by ensuring the curriculum is rooted in excellence and politics are kept out of the classroom.

BUDGET

KISD School Board is responsible for ensuring taxpayer dollars are effectively and efficiently spent on academic, vocational, and athletic programs. Budget deficits are unacceptable and so is leveraging the fund balance to support programs.
